Description

Sumitomo ST719 Tires

The Sumitomo ST719 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for the all axle position of commercial vehicles.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The flat footprint and the symmetric ribbed tread design work together with the all season compound to improve the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The compound elements utilize stronger rubber materials in order to optimize their flexibility in different temperatures, upgrading the summer and winter grip. The tread’s siping placement boosts the grip with the use of extra biting edges, while the road contact generates the necessary traction in all weather conditions. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet performance.

The ribbed tread design helps to optimize the surface contact throughout the drive. The better road contact upgrades the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times. This enables the model to upgrade the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. In other words, the tire boosts the driver’s control over the vehicle, promoting safer controllability.

The Sumitomo ST719 offers a longer-lasting tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the flat footprint allow the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. This allows the tire to avoid irregular wear formations as the pressure circulation is optimized. The stronger compound elements enhance the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, resulting in a slower overall treadwear rate. The self-cleaning nature of the tread design boosts the stone retention resistance. It allows the tire to eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from drilling into the tread area and harming the casing during its performance. As a result, damage cannot shorten the model’s service life.
