The ACT SB10-HDG6 kit features ACT’s most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, designed to deliver increased clamp load, reduced deflection, and maximum clutch life. Each diaphragm spring is treated through ACT’s exclusive four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent performance under high stress. Precision cover stampings provide added rigidity and reliability for long-term durability.
At the heart of this kit is ACT’s 6-pad, spring-centered race disc, engineered to damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under demanding driving conditions. Reinforced spring retainers with wraparound windows and thicker stampings enhance strength and reduce stress concentrations. This configuration offers aggressive engagement and faster shifting, ideal for high-horsepower street or race applications.
The included Monoloc upgrade replaces the traditional two-piece wedge collar and wire ring used in pull-type clutches. Built from hardened chrome-moly steel, the Monoloc ensures uniform bearing load, improved alignment, and extended release mechanism life — even under aggressive driving or modified setups.
