Accelera Iota Tires

The Accelera Iota is a performance and high performance, all season tire made to be mounted on passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire has great summer weather traction with the dual zone tread design. It is not suited for use in winter weather, as the compound does not maintain its great road gripping ability in colder winter temperatures. The outer side of the tread area improves the dry weather road gripping ability by providing additional biting edges. The other side of the tread prevents hydroplaning and increases the wet weather traction by channeling water away from the tire footprint. This improves the summer weather driving safety significantly.

The special tire compound used in the manufacture of the model reduces its overall weight. The lower tire weight takes the driving pressure off of the tire and allows a lowered rolling resistance which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain motion. The decreased rolling resistance lowers the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This makes the tire very fuel and cost efficient and environmentally friendly.

The Accelera Iota’s solid center rib maintains constant road contact. The better road contact ratio enhances the steering responsiveness, driving stability and the tire’s comfort levels. The constant road contact allows the tire to be easily controlled in both dry and wet weather.
